Heaton Ranch – Summer Work Week & Projects

Summer is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get to work at the Heaton Ranch! There are plenty of projects that need attention, and we’d love for each family or group to pick one to take on.

We’re especially inviting everyone to come and be part of our planned work week: May 5–8. This is a great opportunity to spend time together, help out, and make a real difference at the ranch. During these days, we’ll focus on opening up the ranch, general cleanup, repairing the porch, and getting a head start on many of the summer projects. Duke is leading the porch work and needs extra help—please let us know if you’re available to pitch in.

Here’s how you can get involved:

• Pick a project: A set of project photo cards will be shared separately—please take a look and choose one your family or group would like to take on. When you’ve picked a project, let Rachel know.
• Need more info? If you have any questions about a project or what it involves, contact Sherwin.
• Donate supplies: If you have tools or materials you’d like to contribute, or if your project involves a cost and you need help covering it, let Sherwin know. Donations are always appreciated!

Let’s come together to take care of this place we all love. We’re excited to see everyone up at the ranch and grateful for all the time, talent, and effort you share.
